Business Analyst (FP&A Analyst)
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the VP of Finance in generating analytical reports and studies, as well as developing budgets and forecasts to enhance business understanding and drive improvements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Prepare margin accruals and adjustments (software, service)
Ensure the financial results are reconciled/understood in line with the business KPI and other sources of information (Autodesk, Sales Force, Time sheets)
Develop and maintain analytical reporting (weekly, monthly). Gain insight in the business to propose new relevant reporting
Monthly drill down of Margin, Opex and other relevant KPIs
Prepare the local management reporting
Prepare the global management monthly reporting (MBR)
Support the build-up and consolidation of the yearly Budget and of the Forecasts
Ad hoc support on project studies
Participate in the definition of the data structure in the ERP to enable automated and easier reporting
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for an individual who is inquisitive and likes thoroughly understand business drivers. Our ideal candidate will possess the following:
7+ years of experience as a financial/business analyst.
CA, CPA preferred (not mandatory)
Software industry experience preferred (not mandatory)
Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Microsoft Excel super user
Adaptable to various ERP’s, learning new software/systems quickly.
Demonstrated ability to organise and present analyses and data in a clear, relevant and impactful manner for the intended audience.
Strong communication skills, ensuring clarity around deliverables, timelines and commitments.
